Amy Butler Lark Fabrics

Create a buzz with this vibrant lap quilt made using Amy Butler’s Lark collection. This colourful quilt uses large hexagons to showcase Amy’s big and bold designs. Each large hexagon is bordered by two of three smaller designs that are arranged to create an interlocking weave effect.

Finished quilt measures approximately 106cm x 157cm (41-3/4" x 61-3/4")

Our kit contains sufficient fabric to complete the quilt top and binding as follows:

Two Lark Patchwork Palettes (ref PP5536). Each pack contains a selection of 20 different designs from the Lark collection cut to 10" squares.

2.3m of additional fabrics for the hexagon borders, the Gypsy top and bottom border and the binding.

Instructions and templates to complete the quilt.

Backing is not included

Optional Extras

Although the instructions include a paper template you may wish to purchase Marti Michell’s Hexagon Ruler (Ref.9536) which is exactly the same size. This is highly recommended as it is fast and accurate and the clear acrylic allows you to see exactly what part of the design falls within the template.

Backing

The backing is made from remaining fabrics from the Patchwork Palettes that are pieced and then stitched to a 1.75m length of a 42" wide fabric. If you wish to do the same you will require 1.75m of Floral Couture in pitch (ref 5535-26)
