Quilters Dream Orient Batting is a luxurious blend of velvety Bamboo, luscious silk, strong silky Tencel® and soft stable Cotton. Dream Orient's natural environmentally friendly fibers are carded, crosslapped and finely needlepunched to bring you the most desirable qualities of softness, strength, warmth and breathability. The elegant silky soft drape makes Dream Orient a batting beyond compare!

Machine wash and dry with cool water/cool dryer - shrinkage approximately 3%. You can stitch up to 8" apart.

Bamboo - is a velvety soft, absorbent fiber with unique antibacterial qualities. Bamboo is warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Silk - the strongest natural fiber in existence has always stood for quality and elegance. Dream Orient contains high quality Tussah 'Peace' silk, which is stronger and more resilient than white silk..
Botanic Tencel® - is made from environmentally friendly eucalyptus wood pulp derived from sustainable tree farms. Tenciel® is exceptionally strong, resilient and resistant to wrinkles, yet so soft it is often referred to as imitation silk.
Cotton - is a natural fully renewable fiber that is soft, breathable and a traditional fiber used throughout generations. Dream Orient uses only the high grade cleaned upland USA cotton for durability and quality for the most discriminating quilters.

Quilters Dream Green uses a soft, cozy, green polyester fibre made from recycled plastic bottles. Not only does this eco-friendly process help to reduce landfill, it produces a wonderful wadding that is excellent for machine quilting and very good for hand quilting.

It can be washed and dried with little to no shrinkage, it's wrinkle resistant and, although no scrim or resins are used, you can stitch up to 30cm (12") apart (and don't worry about the "natural" light green colour - it's colourfast).

Fusible version of the popular Hobbs Premium 80% cotton, 20% polyester wadding.

Hobbs Heirloom Black is a wadding for use in quilts with darker fabrics. It is an 80% cotton, 20% polyester mix. According to Hobbs it maintains loft, needles wonderfully and is colourfast. Approximate loft is 1/8" with shrinkage of about 3%. Maximum distance between stitches is 4" and it can be used for hand or machine quilting.

10 Yard roll of 1½” wide cloth tape

It’s not exactly a catchy name for a product, but at least you get an idea of what it does! It’s a quick and easy way to join two pieces of wadding (batting) together. Simply lay the wadding edges together, press the tape over the two edges and fuse with an iron.

If you are using a polyester wadding you will need to use a low heat and test a small area first.
