Particularly soft and lightweight interfacing. Ideal for small parts such as collars, cuffs, etc. as well as for the front parts of jackets and stylish blazers made in very light to middle weight fabrics.

Fabric: Delicate flowing fabrics such as silk, viscose, acetate and cuprous etc. Also suitable for Cool Wool.

Method of use: Place the interfacing with the coated side on the wrong side of the fabric. Then using dry heat glide the iron firmly 5-6 times very slowly over each area of the insert, so that each area receives approx. 8 seconds of heat.
Iron setting: silk/wool. Allow the pieces to cool flat for about 20 minutes, so that the adhesive can set properly. We strongly recommend that you attach a small piece of interfacing to a fabric remnant with your iron first to make sure that the hold and the adhesion meet your expectations.

Care: Washable in temperatures up to 40 °C or dry cleanable

Soft Interfacing universally usable for the front sections of waistcoats, jackets and coats as well as for collars, pockets, flaps etc.

Fabric: Light to middle weight fabrics such as wool or raw silk

Advantages: Shape retaining. Flawless fit. Strong yet adjustable hold

Method of use: Place the Interfacing with the coated side on the wrong side of the fabric. Cover the entire area with a damp ironing cloth. Press each area for about 10 to 12 seconds, being careful not to move the iron. Iron setting: Wool/cotton. Allow the pieces to cool flat for about 30 minutes, so that the can set properly.

It is strongly recommend that you attach a small piece of interfacing to a fabric remnant with your iron first to make sure that the hold and the adhesion meet your expectations.

Fabric: Light to middle weight fabrics, e.g. corduroy, velvet, metallics fabics

Advantages: Easy to sew comfortable to wear strong yet flexible feel

Has a smooth, fabric look. Retains shape and is easy to iron-on.
Vilene Firm Fusible is a firm pelmet interfacing for all widths and forms of pelmet. Also very suitable for bands, belts, bags, and creative handicrafts. It has the benefit of being flexible but firm.

First iron the fabrics thoroughly with steam to avoid any shrinkage later. Allow the fabrics to dry completely. Place the interfacing with the coated side on the wrong side of the fabric. Then cover with a damp cloth and glide the iron over each area and press for about 15 seconds, without letting the iron move. Repeat until all fused. Remove pressing cloth and iron fabric to eliminate excess moisture.

Allow item to cool before using. Iron setting: wool/cotton.

Wash flat in temperatures up to 40 °C in the gentle cycle or roll in a laundry bag. Dry cleanable.

Equivalent to Pellon Peltex #71 – single-sided fusible

Very firm and compact interlining. For fabric bowls, cap peaks, bag bottoms, creative art and brooches.
Will work with almost all fabrics. Does not crease easily – retains strength. Fusible on one side.

Set iron to wool/cotton, press on firmly step by step using a damp pressing cloth until fused (about 15 secs depending on the fabric). Alternatively use a Teflon pressing sheet from the fabric side.

Handwash and dry flat.

Equivalent to Pellon Peltex #72 – double-sided fusible

Also known as Pelmet Vilene this is a firm interfacing which is ideally suited for pelmets and creative projects such as fabric postcards, collages, tiwbacks, fabric painting bags etc.

Care: Washable in temperatures up to 30 °C on a gentle cycle or dry cleanable

60% Polyester, 40% ZS

100% cotton Lightweight woven cotton with fusible on one side. Can be used to stabilize many fabrics such as silk, velvets, taffeta, cotton lawn, etc to make them easier to work with.

Adds body and stability to cotton fabrics and can be used as a backing for needlework and embroidery.

Use a steam iron. Glide iron slowly over area to be fused around 6 times applying steam and pressure.

Equivalent to Pellon ShapeFlex Woven Fusible #SF-101

Fast2Fuse is a double-sided, fusible interfacing, so a separate fusible is not required. Use for fabric bowls, boxes, vases, purses and bags, hats, caps and art quilts where stablity is required. Fuse temporarily with a hot, dry iron for 5 seconds. Fuse permanently with a hot steam iron for 10 seconds both sides.

Fast2Fuse comes in a pre-packed 35 x 45cm (14" x 18") sheet.

Transfer designs onto the Paper Solvy by drawing, printing or photo-copying them. Use in foundation piecing, as a stabiliser or backing for sewing projects. It can be pinned or use a temporary spray adhesive such as KK2000 or AD505 to hold it in place. When you have completed your sewing the Paper Solvy dissolves by soaking in water.

Use where dissolving the stabiliser is preferable to tearing, cutting or heating it away. Solvy can also be made into a liquid stabiliser by dissolving it in water and dipping the fabric in the solution.

A non-woven, medium-weight stabiliser with a very light bonding material on one side that peels off and tears away easily. Use multiple layers for greater stability if required.

A woven stabiliser and transfer agent that dissolves in water. Ideal for applique, mono-gramming etc.
