Hoffman Challenge 'A Fusion of Fuchsias (Fuschias)' Rules of Entry Competition organised by Grosvenor Exhibitions.
1. Entries are to be judged on the most inspirational and innovative use of the Hoffman Challenge Fabrics 2008 which are listed above. The fabrics must make up at least 50% of the quilt top and you should base your design on the theme 'A Fusion of Fuchsias (Fuschias)'.
2. All four challenge fabrics must be used within your quilt, must clearly be part of the design and represent at least 50% of the quilt top. You can add as many, or as few other fabrics, the choice is yours.
3. Quilt size: Your finished quilt must measure 1m x 1m.
4. Closing date for entry forms is 19 May 2008.
5. Entries will be judges at the National Quilt Championships at Sandown. You will be sent an official quilt label with your entry number by mail, no later than 31st May 2008, with details of how to send in or deliver your quilt. On receipt of your quilt you will be mailed an 'Official receipt' to state that your entry has arrived safely with us. All entries will travel during the Autumn 2008 and will be returned after the Autumn Quilt Festival, Chilford (November 2008)
6. Important: Each entry must have a 4" hanging sleeve.
7. The Judges decisions are final and no correspondence can be entered into. Prizes are not transferable and no cash alternatives can be offered, No responsibility is accepted for entry forms lost, damaged or delayed in the post.
8. An entry fee of £10.00 is payable on completion of the form. This will include the return of your entry at the end of 2008 by recorded post to all UK mainland address. For overseas entries please contact us for further availability.
