Kaffe Fassett. "A vintage quilt in Mary Mashuta's book Cotton Candy Quilts was the starting place for this quilt. I love the scrappiness of it and the strong diagonals that emerge while maintaining rippling vertical stripes, yet another amazing use of simple squares".

Kaffe Fassett "The world of sunny yellows always intrigues me after seeing how the Chinese and Japanese use it so excitingly. We were lucky to find a tree in Christopher Lloyd's garden to show it to advantage. This simple to sew quilt could of course be done in any colourway that took your fancy."

Liza Prior Lucy "For maximum impact Liza fussy cut Kaffe's Jungle Stripe in the red and autumn colourways and punctuated them with Spot in hot shades. Kaffe thought it looked like those wonderful whirling Mexican skirts. The red Targets border is the perfect finishing touch."
