Man Made Wadding Fibres

Quilters Dream Green uses a soft, cozy, green polyester fibre made from recycled plastic bottles. Not only does this eco-friendly process help to reduce landfill, it produces a wonderful wadding that is excellent for machine quilting and very good for hand quilting.

It can be washed and dried with little to no shrinkage, it's wrinkle resistant and, although no scrim or resins are used, you can stitch up to 30cm (12") apart (and don't worry about the "natural" light green colour - it's colourfast).

Dream Puff is 1.5 times Warmer than Down and Almost Twice as Warm as High Loft Polyester Battings. So Light, Breathable and Wonderfully Comfortable, you will be Amazed at Dream Puffs Superior Insulation. Dream Puffs 100% Special Fine Denier Poly MicroFibers are Thermally Bonded* and 'Sealed' for a Light Airy Resilient Batting. Pure white.

Midnight Dream Poly is a true deep black, colourfast wadding excellent for rich coloured fabrics. It is available in the Select loft which is perfect for hand or machine quilting. It is needlepunched for strength and does not contain scrim or resins. It can be stitched as far apart as 8"

Insul-Bright is made from hollow, polyester fibres needlepunched through a nonwoven substrate and a reflective mylar. The result is a material ideal for home projects such as pot holders, oven mitts and casserole covers. Breatheable and it won’t break down with washing.
