This ruler is excellent for general cutting, but it was actually designed by Nancy Johnson-Srebro while working on her new book, Stars by Magic. Following Nancy's technique , this ruler is used to make 8-pointed stars, Lone Stars and more using only squares and rectangles. The easy rotary cutting methods guarantee perfect star points - no dog ears, no Y-seams to contend with, no bias edges and no diamonds to cut!
