To turn points in collars, lapels, pockets, flaps, belts, ties etc. - trim seams and turn to right side. Use pointed end to gently push out corners.

Removing Basting Threads.
Clip any fastening threads, and at frequent intervals along stitching. Place pointed end under basting stitch and remove threads by pulling away from fabric.

Curved Seams: Use curved edge to crease seams open before pressing.
