The Big Foot is a giant darning foot designed to give more control with free-motion quilting and embroidery. The large clear plastic ring gently pushes the fabric down around the needle reducing the chance of puckering. You have more contact with the quilt sandwich, which will give you better stitch control. Sew at a steady medium speed. From the centre of the "T" shaped slot it is approximately ¼" to either end of the "T" slot. This provides a guide for echo quilting.
One of our customers likened the difference between her old free-motion foot and the Big Foot to the difference between driving a Fiesta and a Ferrari!

Low Shank - Fits Low Shank and Pfaff machines (but not the Pfaff 1200 Series). With a Low Shank Adapter this model can be used with Bernina machines.
Bernina Adapters for use with Big Foot Low Shank
Bernina adapters enable you to convert a Big Shank foot for use with a Bernina machine. The adapter fits onto the Big Shank foot and it can then be attached to your Bernina in the same way as other Bernina feet. The adapter can be used with the Low Shank versions of the Big Foot, Little Foot, Open Toe Embroidery Foot and many other Low Shank feet.
If you wish to use the Big Foot with a Bernina and do not have an adapter select the appropriate adapter for your Bernina here - there are two versions.

 | Little Foot Ref: 8873
The Little Foot® by Lynn Graves is a clear Lexan® plastic foot for sewing accurate 1/4" seams. In patchwork the ability to be able to sew a ¼" seam is essential for achieving an accurate finished result. The right edge of the Little Foot® is 1/4" from the centre while the left edge is approximately 3/8" from the centre giving you better control as it covers most of the feed dogs. The notches 1/4" in front and behind the needle are designed to help with starting, stopping and pivoting.
