Twisted Sisters is certainly an odd name for this new rotary cutting template, but it is quite appropriate once you know how it works. The idea is simplicity itself and yet the result is a very dynamic and interesting block.
Twisted Sisters blocks are made from two strips of fabric sistered or stitched together. The sistered strips are cut into chunks. Using the Twisted Sisters Rotary Template they are then cut into wedges. The wedges are stitched to the block centre using an around the block sewing technique. Finished blocks are 9½" square.
The template comes with an A4 leaflet with full instructions and options for different blocks, settings and borders.
