Whats New

We have two new fabric ranges from Tone Finnanger for Tilda fabrics, The Seaside Life and Country Escape. There are 18 fabrics in all and we also have two fat quarter packs sampling each range.

Tilda Fabrics

The Sizzix Big Shot has been re-coloured with a powder blue and teal design with flowers and stars (10820). The machine itself has not been changed from the previous Black and Pink version (10626), but it does come with an Extended Multipurpose platform instead of an Adjustable Multipurpose platform. For patchwork and quilters this makes relatively little difference since the Multipurpose platform is not used with the Sizzix patchwork and quilting dies. We still have stocks of the Black and Pink version but these are running down.


Sizzix Powder Blue and Teal Big Shot

Eden is the latest range from Nel Whatmore featuring delicate floral designs anc co-ordinates. The range takes its inspiration from Nel's visits to the Chelsea Flower Show and in particular a garden designed by Cleve West. As well as fabrics by the metre we have fat quarter packs, a charm pack and patchwork palette.

The latest addition to our line of quilt hangers to show of your latest creation is a 16" Sunbonnet Sue hanger, featuring two Sue's either side of a heart design.

Japanese Quilting: Piece by Piece

Amy Butler's latest patchwork and quilting fabric range is called Alchemy. There are 12 fabrics in the collection and Amy says that she designed Alchemy around the idea of transformation, and infusing elements of nature with exciting color and vivid graphic stories. Her vision was to achieve a lovely chemistry of print, colour, and texture.

The Morris Apprentice is a fantastic range of fabrics designed by Barbara Brackman for Moda. The fabrics are based on the designs of John Henry Dearle, the Morris apprentice, who designed the prints in this collection and also designed and crafted stained glass windows for Morris and Company. Dearle became Art Director in 1896 after the death of William Morris and guided the firm into the twentieth century. We have 40 fabulous fabrics from the collection as well as a Jelly Roll. Layer Cake and Charm Pack.

We will be introducing lots of gorgeous new threads over the next few weeks as we bring the new WonderFil thread ranges online. One of the first ranges is Konfetti which is a 50 weight 3 ply cotton thread. They are made from long staple Egyptian 100% cotton which has been double gassed and mercerised to give a very low lint finish. Available on 1000m spools there are 60 Konfetti threads, fantastic for piecing, quilting and embroidery.

WonderFil Mirage is a 30 weight multi-color rayon thread. Mirage is random dyed with unusual contrasting tones. Ideal for quilting, decorative stitches, embroidery and thread painting. Available in 40 colors in 800m (874yd) spools
