Our ShopThe Cotton Patch is a family run patchwork and quilting shop which was started in 1990. The shop is situated in Hall Green, Birmingham and expanded in 1999 to include the shop next door. There are now over twenty full-time and part-time staff in the shop.
The feel that we have tried to create for the shop is of an Aladdin's Cave dedicated to patchwork and quilting. That means that not only are there beautiful fabric ranges on display but all the notions, gadgets, haberdashery and aids that make up the patchwork and quilting hobby are also available. There are books which inspire initial creation through to hangers allowing you to display your finished quilts. |
Patchwork and Quilting FabricsThe heart of a patchwork and quilting shop is its fabric collection and we have over 2500 fabric bolts on display in our shop or on our website. There are fabrics from most major manufacturers such as Benartex, Daiwabo, Fabric Freedom, Makower, Moda, Quilt Gate, RJR, Robert Kaufman, Stof and Rowan (including the widest selection of Kaffe Fassett fabrics in the UK).
As well as being able to purchase off the bolt we also stock a wide selection of pre-cut fabric packs including charm packs, strip (jelly) rolls, fat quarter packs and fabric packs for quilt kits.
The Cotton Patch shop is ably served by a dedicated and hardworking workforce. Our staff are patchwork and quilters themselves and can help with insight and advice from picking fabrics to explaining the function of the latest notions. |
