Cotton Patch Club Discount Code Explanation
If you have joined the Cotton Patch Club and have a Cotton Patch Club card
follow the instructions below for claiming your discount on your when ordering
online:-
What you should enter in the Cotton Patch Club Discount Code box.

If you are a Cotton Patch club member, then you are eligible for discounts on your purchases. You need to enter the word Club followed by either15, 30, 40, 60, 80 or 100. The correct number to enter depends upon the subtotal of the goods in your shopping basket excluding shipping (shown at the top of the order page) and also minus the cost of any exempt items (EQ6, Quilt Pro 5, Pfaff GrandQuilter, Pfaff Smart 350P or fabric clubs and subscription magazines). You do not need to enter your Cotton Patch Club number in this box. You will enter that after you have entered your email address further down the order page.

In this example the order is over £15 in the Subtotal, but under £30 so I would write Club15 in the box as shown below.

Entering your Cotton Patch Club Number
Lower down on the page you can enter your unique Cotton Patch Club number in the correct box. This just confirms to us that you think that you are a valid club Member. Our office computer systems will check that this is the case, but it makes it easier for us if you enter the details. Below is an example of where you would type your number. If you do not have the number on you do not worry to much as we do check anyway who is a valid member.

Why we use this system
By using this system we are attempting to show you the correct Cotton Patch Club discount for the order value that you have ordered when you place your order. To do this we need some information
input from you to allow the computer to distinguish between Club members and
non-Club members.
Why don’t we use a login.
Many sites that you may use require that you have a login to function correctly. The site would then know who you were and could work out the correct discount. We felt that this system was too restrictive though for our customers
and did not offer the level of service we wanted. Because we are not only a website based company but one which has a shop and a mail order
business then customers can and do renew or join the Club or change their
details in any of these formats. A website login is therefore not sophisticated
enough for our customers needs. For example you would probably find it difficult to write to a large internet only firm and say can you change my address details, oh and by the way I have finished that quilt for my niece.
Also we have found that our customers cannot always remember the logins for lots of different websites and they just want to purchase some fabric.
