Kaffe Fassett Fabric Collection at The Cotton
Patch
Born in San Francisco, Kaffe Fassett settled in England in 1964 and worked as an artist. On a trip to Scotland he stumbled on an irresistible collection of coloured yarns. A few months later he was hooked and proceeded to knit and stitch himself a career.
The Kaffe Fassett Fabric Collection now extends to hundreds
of
patchwork and quilting fabrics ranging from wonderful woven stripes and checks to bold and colourful prints. Since 1999 Rowan has published a series of Patchwork books featuring these fabrics which continue to be revised and updated.
Other Rowan fabric designers such as Amy Butler, Carla Miller and
Martha Negley are also featured above. |
