Overseas Orders

You can now place orders from all European Union countries, Norway and Switzerland, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

There is a minimum order value for overseas of £50. Postage costs start from £11.

European Orders are no longer sent under IOSS system. The order will be free of tax but the customer will be liable for any import duties or tax. These will vary depending upon individual countries. There is no longer an upper limit on order value.

Rest of the world countries will be free of tax but the customer will potentially be liable for any import duties and tax.

Shop in Hall Green Update

Our Shop in Hall Green, Birmingham.
We are sorry to say our shop in Hall Green will not be able to reopen at the current time. This is a difficult decision but with the turbulance in the High Street and the UK generally then it will stay closed.

As well as shipping throughout the UK a Click & Collect service from our shop is available which you can chose during checkout (this is obviously post free). So, if you are a local customer or are passing by, you can select 'Collect from Cotton Patch' from the postage categories when you check out. Full details on our Postage Page.

Westalee Free Motion Quilting Rulers

The Westalee Free Motion Ruler Quilting Foot has been designed to allow quilters to expand their creativity by stitching with the guidance of a template (ruler) on a sewing machine. This opens up the possibility of creating a wide variety of designs that are normally reserved for the longarm machine quilters.

Many of our packs are cut and curated in-house and you are not going to find them elsewhere.

Patchwork Quilt Kits

As well as patchwork fabrics off the bolt or pre cut packs of fabric we also sell a large range of quilt kits. These are in a huge range of styles and the kits contain the fabrics and instructions on how to cut, piece and finish your patchwork quilt. A patchwork quilt is a labour of love creating a memento, keepsake or treasure that can span the generations

Waddings

We also hold possibly the largest range of quilt wadding and batting in the UK, stocking Hobbs, Warm and Natural, Quilters Dream and Vlieseline Waddings. Made from natural fibres such as cotton, wool, silk and bamboo as well as polyester waddings and blends. Available in king, queen, twin and crib size waddings. If you are not sure which is the best wadding for patchwork quilt then we have two wadding sample packs so that you can try out different lofts, weights and materials to select the best wadding for your patchwork quilt.
