As featured in Kaffe Fassett's Quilts by the Sea book, this cushion design is taken from the Jiggery Pokery quilt in Kaffe's previous book Quilt Romance. Made of 2 simple blocks, it features Brandon's new Brollies fabric.

As featured in Kaffe Fassett's Quilts by the Sea book, this cushion design harks back to the Fruits of the Forest quilt in the previous book Quilts in Burano. It can be made from scraps and would sit beautifully with the Love in the Mist Quilt.

As featured in Kaffe Fassett's Quilts by the Sea book, this cushion design is a nod to the Marble Tiles quilt from the previous book Quilts in Wales. Using a single block is made more interesting by randomly arranging the stripy borders and binding.

Iron Clamshell patches to a fusible wadding then stitch into place using a decorative thread (no piecing!) to create these dimensional scales that look like the hide of some colourful, mythical beast! Alternatively flip the other way up if you prefer the more traditional clamshell look.

Our kit includes two Kaffe Fassett charm packs in the Fire colourway, fusible wadding, interfacing, a clamshell paper template and instructions.

Cushion backing fabric and filler not included. Use a 22” (55cm) cushion filler or 24" for a “plump” effect.

Please note the fabrics are not pre-cut clamshells they are 5" square charms. We cut our fabrics in the example images using the Sizzix Bigz Clamshell die which is no longer availabe to purchase. A paper template is also included in the instructions to help you cut out the fabrics.
