Jelly Rolls are a great way of sampling lots of fabrics and because they are already cut into strips they are easier to handle and piece for your quilt top. A Moda Jelly Roll is a selection of 40 fabrics cut to 2 1/2 inch wide by the fabric width, which is normally 112-114cm (44"-45"). Our patchwork quilting fabrics by the metre are here. We also supply other fabric precuts; fat quarter packs, charm packs, layer cakes, fabric panels and quilt kits.
Other manufacturers have different terms for Jelly Rolls for example Robert Kaufman produce Roll Ups, Hoffman have Bali Pops and Free Spirit have Design Rolls. The main point is that all the fabric rolls are 2 1/2" wide but they may contain different quantities of fabric material, usually around 40. Moda Jelly Rolls
