Bondaweb® from Vilene is a web adhesive on paper interfacing. The paper supports the web while drawing as well as ironing. With Bondaweb®, different materials and fabrics can be fused together by ironing, very easily. Bondaweb® is ideal for fancy appliqués and textile handicrafts in all forms and colours as well as for repairs. With Bondaweb® you can let your creative streak run wild!

Bondaweb is a double-sided adhesive to bond fabrics together simply by ironing. Also known as Vlieseline Vliesofix. 44cm (17") wide.

Suitable for almost all fabrics, raffia, cardboard and, at lower temperatures, also for leather.

Washable in temperatures up to 60C or dry cleanable.

Create your own individual design, PAINT the adhesive side of Bondaweb® with acrylic paint, and then let it dry well. Place the adhesive side of Bondaweb® on the right side of the fabric and iron it on from the paper side. Afterwards let everything cool down well. Carefully pull off the base paper of Bondaweb®. Note, the painted side always has to be covered with baking paper if it is to be re-ironed afterwards.

3. After fixing, lay the pieces down flat to cool down for around 30 minutes to allow the bond to stabilise.

How to Use Fold-a-band/Bundfix/Waist-shaper:

1. Iron waist-shaper on to the fabric waistband, cut to size, by applying dry heat and pressure for 8 sec.
2. Fold the waistband in the middle and pre-iron the upper waistband edge.
3. Sew the waistband to the skirt (trousers) along the perforated line.
4. Sew the joining edge and sew the turned-over skirt or trousers lining to the waistband – if desired.

Special heat dissolvable clear and perforated stabilizing film. Dissolves when subjected to heat and allows embroidery work to be carried out on extremely fine fabrics, stretch fabrics and on normal cotton fabrics. Super Film is also especially suitable for the embroidery of emblems or logos without fabric.

Embroidery of emblems and logos: cut the desired length of SUPER FILM from the roll and stretch into an embroidery frame. Use multi-layers of the film according to the structure of the embroidery. One of the layers should be placed with the smooth side facing upwards. When using two layers, both layers of the film should be placed with the rough sides facing each other, when using three layers, place the rough side on top of the smooth side of the second layer. Then embroider the desired emblem/logo. After completion of the embroidery, remove the emblem/logo from the SUPER FILM. Remove the film residue by means of an iron or a heat press . Do not leave the iron stationary when ironing, but make circular movements over the embroidery. The iron should be set to a temperature of 2 points, however, if necessary, whilst taking great care, the temperature may be increased to 3 points. When using a heat press, the embroidery should remain in the press for approximately 10 – 20 seconds at a temperature of approximately 120° C (248°F).

Embroidery of delicate and stretch fabrics: cut the desired length of SUPER FILM from the roll and place it underneath the fabric that is to be embroidered. Stretch both the
fabric and the backing firmly into the embroidery frame. Either carefully tear away the superfluous film on the outside of the embroidery or cut the film away close to the edge. Any remaining film can be melted away as described above.

Note: always keep SUPER FILM enclosed in the clam shell pack. This will protect your embroidery backing from dirt, damp and dehydration.

This fusible bonding yarn is ideal for hemming with invisible seams and can be processed with both the overlock and sewing machine. The yarn goes into the lower gripper on overlock machines. First, the yarn's cutting edge is trimmed in a wide zigzag stitch using the thread. Afterwards, the hem is folded inwards and then firmly ironed from the outside.

And, as easy as that, a perfect hem is created with an invisible seam. If a mistake should be made when ironing, the fusible bonding yarn can be loosened again once and ironed on again. The package contains 40 m of yarn and directions for use.

Iron-on glossy vinyl. Hey, we can laminate our own fabric! Fabric stays soft and is easy to work with. Slicker = it makes fabric slicker. Not recommended for use in the microwave. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not launder in washing machine.

Directions:
– Pre-wash fabric without using fabric softeners.
– Peel paper backing and set aside to use as a pressing sheet.
– Place sticky side of Slicker on right side of fabric/paper.
– Top with paper backing, shiny side toward vinyl.
– Press with iron set to medium, no steam, for 8 seconds.
– Do not touch hot iron directly to vinyl.
– Flip project over. Press on back of project for additional 4 seconds.
– Allow to cool before using.
– Pins will leave a puncture hole in the vinyl. Pin/clip in seam allowance.
– Keep paper backing for touch-up pressing if needed.
– BPA free.
NOTE: Do not microwave or use in oven.

Care Instructions:
Wipe clean with damp cloth. Do not soak/submerge in water.
