A Moda Jelly Roll is a selection of 40 fabrics cut to 2-1/2" wide by the fabric width, which is normally 112-114cm, (44-45"). JellyRolls are a great way of sampling lots of fabrics and because they are already cut into strips they are easier to handle. Other manufactuers have other terms for Jelly Rolls for example, Robert Kaufman produce Roll-Ups, Hoffman have Bali Pops and Free Spirit have Design Rolls. The main point is that all the fabric rolls are 2 1/2" wide but they may contain different amounts of fabric, usually around 40.
