We have new kits arriving on a regular basis but they can sell out quickly, so you can pre-order some of our quilt kits to make sure you get the one you want. You will not be charged until the kit is ready for despatch. The skill level of our patchwork kits ranges from beginner to advanced and this is noted on the kit if appropriate.

Freshly Faded Hearts Quilt Kit

The Freshly Faded Hearts quilt kit includes 26 fabrics from Katrinka's Nature's Contours collection, Sarah Campbell'sFresh Picked collection and Martha Negley's Flower Fields collection, from Free Spirit
Finished size is 72" x 72". Kit includes fabric to complete the quilt top and binding and the pattern, with a paper template for the heart motif which will need to be copied onto template plastic and cut out. Th ehearts are appliqued on using double sided fusible such as Bondaweb (ref 735) or Steam-a-Seam Lite (ref 8672) - both sold separately.

Kaffe Collective Autumn Postcard Quilt Kit

One of our favourite quilts from the Kaffe's Quilts by the Sea book is this gorgeous Autumn Postcards quilt. Designed by Liza Lucy, it is based on an antique quilt at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Free Spirit originally offered a pre-cut kit to make this quilt, but these have now sold out. However, the kit is still available on a "make to order basis", cut by Cotton Patch. We stock one of the largest selections of Kaffe Fassett Collective fabrics in the UK and these fabrics are constantly reordered. Because of this we may not have all the kit fabrics in stock at the time you place your order. If there is a delay while we wait to complete your kit we will advise you and we do not take payment until the kit is despatched.

Our kit includes all the fabric to complete the quilt top and binding (approximately 12.5m) plus all the information, online access link and paper templates that were provided in the original Free Spirit pack.

The book states "This beauty is a real feat of geometry and piecing" and is "not for the faint hearted" and so this is recommended for quilters with advanced skills.

Finished size: 84" (2.13m) square. Please note that the backing fabric is not included, however you can order a co-ordinating design from the Kaffe Fassett 108" quilt backs range which you can find here. My Favourites is a new Cotton Patch quilt pattern designed to make the most of big scale prints with a 4 x 4 grid of 12" half square triangles making up the quilt centre and a double border of 4" x 8" bricks, making the quilt approximately 64" square.

The construction is quite straightforward and because the half square triangle blocks are large and the brick borders are offset there are relatively few points to match up, this makes it suitable for a confident beginner.
Philip Jacobs is reknowned for his bold, big-scale designs that this quilt design really makes the most of them. These prints are designed by Philip under his Snow Leopard label and are from his Secret Stream and Silk Road collections. The result is a quilt full of light and colour. This quilt kit contains all the fabrics for the quilt top and binding plus instructions.

Reflections Quilt Kit

This queen-sized quilt features a variety of traditional blocks from log cabin to Dresden fans divided by graduated sashings and cornerstones that give the quilt centre a glow. The quilt is made from a collection called memories by Kaye England: a collection of mostly small patterns in rich blues, greens, warm golds, reds, a touch of orange and a variety of neutrals. The result is a traditional quilt with a varied colour palette that has a structured, but scrappy style - an heirloom for today and tomorrow.

Our kit includes all the fabrics for the quilt top and binding (16.5m approximately) plus full pattern instructions.

Please note that this kit does not include backing fabric, however we recommend 2.5metres of 9051-29 or 9051-30.

A selection of 8 fat quarters from the Kaffe Fassett Collective February 2020 Collection. This bundle mixes prints of different styles and scales unified by a colour theme.

A Fat Quarter is cut to 50cm by half the fabric width.

Included with this bundle are instructions for making a small 36" x 45" (91cm x 114cm) "Accent" quilt - a simple design to construct that lets the fabric "do the talking". Use as a throw, wall hanging or lap quilt to compliment (or contrast) with your decor or add more packs to make a larger quilt. A lovely gift that can be made in a day!

If you want to keep the quilting simple and just stitch in the ditch we recommend Quilter's Dream Green wadding in the Crib size (9774). Made from recycled plastic bottles, it is very stable with a nice drape.

This fat quarter bundle contains sufficient fabric to complete the quilt top - simply select a backing and binding of your choice.
Backing: 1.25m of a standard (110cm) wide patchwork fabric. We recommend 5484-6.
Binding: 25cm (for 1 1/2" single fold binding) or 35cm (for 2 1/2" double fold binding). We recommend 1932-4.

Kaffe Fassett’s Spot and Aboriginal Dot designs are the perfect starting point for this bright and cheerful, scrappy project. Use just two 5" charm packs to create the top for a 24" cushion cover or mini quilt. And there are enough patches left over to make a coordinating placemat or “mug rug”.

Kit includes one Kaffe Spots 5" Charm pack (6848CH), one Aboriginal Dots 5" Charm pack (6878CH) and 11506 Scrappy Half Square Triangles project sheet with paper template. Backing, binding (for quilt) and cushion filler not included.
