Kaffe Fassett quilt kits using fabrics by Free Spirit. These include kits from Kaffe Fassett project books, such as Quilts iby the Sea, as well as standalone quilt kits which include the instructions. One of the most inspirational designers of quilt kits in the world, Kaffe Fassett and the other Kaffe Fassett Collective designers, Philip Jacobs and Brandon Mably, have over the years created some iconic quilts. As well as quilts created by Kaffe we also design quilt kits inhouse which showcase the new designs that the Collective have made.

One of our favourite quilts from the Kaffe's Quilts by the Sea book is this gorgeous Autumn Postcards quilt. Designed by Liza Lucy, it is based on an antique quilt at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Free Spirit originally offered a pre-cut kit to make this quilt, but these have now sold out. However, the kit is still available on a "make to order basis", cut by Cotton Patch. We stock one of the largest selections of Kaffe Fassett Collective fabrics in the UK and these fabrics are constantly reordered. Because of this we may not have all the kit fabrics in stock at the time you place your order. If there is a delay while we wait to complete your kit we will advise you and we do not take payment until the kit is despatched.

Our kit includes all the fabric to complete the quilt top and binding (approximately 12.5m) plus all the information, online access link and paper templates that were provided in the original Free Spirit pack.

The book states "This beauty is a real feat of geometry and piecing" and is "not for the faint hearted" and so this is recommended for quilters with advanced skills.

Finished size: 84" (2.13m) square. Kaffe Fassett and Brandon Mably have re-coloured the popular Seed Packets pattern using a mix of fabrics from their forthcoming autumn collection, spring collection and classic designs. Our kit for the 2023 version will be available from this October when stock of the autumn collection arrives. We recommend pre-ordering this quilt if you want to ensure you get this kit when the fabrics are released. Please note that because of the fussy cutting required in this design you will have a lot of fabric left over - almost enough to make another one!

A selection of 8 fat quarters from the Kaffe Fassett Collective February 2020 Collection. This bundle mixes prints of different styles and scales unified by a colour theme.

A Fat Quarter is cut to 50cm by half the fabric width.

Included with this bundle are instructions for making a small 36" x 45" (91cm x 114cm) "Accent" quilt - a simple design to construct that lets the fabric "do the talking". Use as a throw, wall hanging or lap quilt to compliment (or contrast) with your decor or add more packs to make a larger quilt. A lovely gift that can be made in a day!

If you want to keep the quilting simple and just stitch in the ditch we recommend Quilter's Dream Green wadding in the Crib size (9774, £7.95). Made from recycled plastic bottles, it is very stable with a nice drape.

This fat quarter bundle contains sufficient fabric to complete the quilt top - simply select a backing and binding of your choice.
Backing: 1.25m of a standard (110cm) wide patchwork fabric. We recommend 5484-15.
Binding: 25cm (for 1 1/2" single fold binding) or 35cm (for 2 1/2" double fold binding). We recommend 7514-3.

Kaffe Fassett’s Spot and Aboriginal Dot designs are the perfect starting point for this bright and cheerful, scrappy project. Use just two 5" charm packs to create the top for a 24" cushion cover or mini quilt. And there are enough patches left over to make a coordinating placemat or “mug rug”.

Kit includes one Kaffe Spots 5" Charm pack (6848CH), one Aboriginal Dots 5" Charm pack (6878CH) and 11506 Scrappy Half Square Triangles project sheet with paper template. Backing, binding (for quilt) and cushion filler not included.
