We have added a new fabric designer page for Renee Nanneman who designs quilting fabrics for Andover. Renee Nanneman started her company Need'l Love Company in 1984, when just 26, and designed patterns for cross stitch, rug hooking and quilting and her designs usually have a distinctive 'vintage' feel to them. Her first patchwork quilting fabric range for Andover was Daylily Days in 2006 and we have stocked many of her ranges over the years. Cottage Cloth and Cottage Cloth II have been very successful blender range that fits what we would call a country style. Stuart Hillard recently published a book called Quilts in the Country that highlights this style which is one of his favourites.

Her latest fabric collection of smart, but simple designs is called Petite Bees and features just three designs, each in five colours - scattered bees, a pretty trailing floral design and a tiny gingham check - in a selection of neutral and honey tones. Fabrics are £12.40/m and we also have two Fat Quarter bundles of six fabrics - choose from Gold and Neutral, £18.95 each.

Renee has also designed these charming Petite Beehive Lap quilts. There are two colourways available: Taupe (below left) and Gold. The finished size is 37-1/2" x 37-1/2". Our kits include all the fabrics for the quilt top and binding. £39.95 each.
