Green Economy Quilt. As featured in Kaffe Fassett's Quilts in London book.
This quilt is created using the traditional 'economy' block, popular during the Great Depression in the 1930s as it used up small scraps of fabric. It is also known as the 'square in a square' block, used here to show off Kaffe Collective's fussy-cut prints in the centre squares, while playing with contrast and colour in the surrounding triangles.
Our kit includes all the fabric required to make the quilt top and binding (backing not included). Any fabrics that have been discontinued by the manufacturer will be replaced by a carefully selected substitute. A copy of Quilts in London book is required for the instructions. If you pre‐order Quilts in London, your kit will be despatched with the book.
Finished size: 69-1/2" x 60-1/2" (177cm x 154cm)
Backing fabric is not included. You can find our range of Kaffe Fassett Collective wide backing fabrics here.
Your chosen backing will be despatched along with your kit. Suggested quantity of an Extra Wide 108" fabric is 2m (8 units)
