Little Foot Low Shank 1/4" Patchwork Foot

The Little Foot is a clear plastic (Lexan (R)) foot for sewing accurate 1/4" seams. The right edge is 1/4" from the centre while the left edge is approximately 3/8" from the centre giving you better control as it covers most of the feed dogs. It also has 1/4" notches in front and behind the needle position, designed to help with starting, stopping and pivoting.
Fits Low Shank machines and Featherweights. This is the most common fitting . With a Low Shank Adapter this model can be used with Bernina machines.
For Bernina sewing machines there are two adapters that enable you to convert a Big Shank foot please see the two options at the bottom of this page for which Adapter is appropriate

1/4 inch foot - patchwork freedom!
I hunted high and low for a patchwork 1/4 inch foot for my lovely old singer featherweight, was resigned to having to buy one from the USA but then I spotted this one in UK at Cotton Patch. I now have the best of both worlds, my portable reliable featherweight for classes and the perfect little foot
