Plaid Check and Gingham Fabrics

Our current selection of check gingham and plaid fabrics. Plaid fabric is more of an American term and suggests a large pattern of similar coloured stripes crossing at right angles. Gingham fabric was originally an Indian term and means a striped or check cloth. Nowadays gingham means an all cotton checked cloth and is used for dresses shirts tablecloths and of course quilting.
