Our boxed kit contains all the fabric required to make one quilt top and binding, plus pattern and acrylic templates (backing not included).
The coverlet is a reproduction of the one made by Jane, her sister Cassandra, and their mother. It is a medallion quilt with a large central motif cut as a diamond. This is surrounded by a 232 smaller diamonds and interconnected by spotted sashing. The outer border contains over 2500 smaller diamonds.
Please note that backing fabric is not included. We have a Jane Austen Extra Wide backing fabric available (ref 8383-12) of which you would need 2.25m (9 units)
Finished size approx 80" x 100" (203 x 254cm).
