Hobbs Waddings

Hobbs Wadding from Hobbs Bonded Fibres are based in Waco Texas and have manufactured high-quality quilt wadding for both home and commercial quilters since 1978. Hobbs is one of the leading worldwide wadding brands and would make an excellent addition to your patchwork quilt.

They produce an excellent high-quality range of waddings and battings ranging from their well known Polydown wadding to Tuscany Silk.

Vlieseline (also known as Vilene) waddings battings and fleece

Cotton Mix	Vlieseline Cotton Mix Wadding 279 by the metre. Vlieseline wadding is a needle punched wadding made from 80% cotton and 20% polyester. It has the added support of a scrim, allowing an excellent combination of a soft hand feel and a lightweight construction while still providing significant stability and support. Polyester	Vlieseline P250 Polyester wadding is warm, functional and highly voluminous, this heavy‐weight sew‐in wadding is flame resistant and suitable for all fabrics. Made from synthetic fibres, P250 is great for patchwork and quilting as well as for making duvets. Bags, soft and insulating play rugs for babies, upholstery, jackets, coats and other protective clothing. Suitable for hand and machine quilting, stitch distance max 15-20cm	60" x 78" pack

Fusible Wadding

Available in cotton, polyester and blended wadding types, fusing is activated by heat/ironing.
